We can use all the books on the different types of cats and wikipedia. Wikipedia lists many interesting facts about this amazing
subject.
Lions (Panthera Leo) - mostly found in Africa and the savanna grasslands surrounded by Acacia trees also known as thorntrees or wattles. They've been sighted in Southern parts of Eurasia, ranging from Greece to India.
Tigers (Panthera Tigris) - are found in many places such as tropical and evergreen forests, woodlands, grasslands, rocky country, swamps, and savannas. They prefer more dense vegetation than the lion, which gives then excellent camouflage in the grass/nature. These beautiful stripe cats are endangered.
Puma (Puma concolor) - also known as a cougar, mountain lion, or a panther. These beautifully sleek cats are as close to threatened so we fight to keep them alive. The puma has the largest range of any wild land animal in America.
Leopards (Panthera Pardus) - As of 1996, the leopard has the largest population of any other cat in the world. They are mostly found outside of Subsaharan Africa. Leopards like to live in grasslands, woodlands, and riverside forests.
